This page is deliberately written in plain language. It is not legal advice.

What you may do

You may play the games for free, as much as you like — at home, in a classroom, at work, on stream or in a video. You need no permission to record them, write about them or use them as teaching material, and none of it costs anything.

There is no licence key, no account and no activation step. If you have the page or the app, you have the game.

What you may not do

Sell the games or charge for access to them; republish them as your own work or under another name; remove or alter the copyright and licence notices that ship with them.

Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the compiled builds, or modify them for redistribution. Where the law where you live grants you such a right regardless of what these terms say, that right of course stands.

Provided as is

The games and this site are provided free and as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied — including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. There is no promise that they are bug-free, that they will run on a particular device, or that they will remain available.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the games, including lost save data and lost time. Where the law does not permit a limitation this broad, liability is limited to the minimum the law permits — which, for a free product, is usually what you paid: nothing.

Name and content

The Parva Machina name, the game names, and the games’ text, scenarios and design belong to their author. Screenshots, clips and quotations for reviews, articles, videos and teaching are free to use and need no permission. Using the name for something that is not these games does require permission.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the games change; the date above says when they last did. Nothing here can quietly turn into a price, a subscription or a data-collection requirement; that would be a different product, not a new paragraph.
